MOD Flight

It seems that the UK Government in conjunction with the MOD/RAF are trying to stop civilians from using the airbridge, or at the very least making it less attractive by introducing very large fare increases, changing the freight definitions and the 21 hours of substandard treatment while within their care.

Is it now time to reconsider re-wording our Battle Day Letter of 1994 so that every person in the islands pays an amont (through taxes) that is directly proportional to the amont a UK citizen pays for defense?

I for one would hate to think that the UK Government can expect to receive £100’s of millions from our hydrocarbons while we are being held to financial ransom over a half empty aircraft that very often makes the return trip to the UK with over 70 seats empty!
